The rain fell. And she waited.
Figures passed by below, soft shadows in the misty rainfall. None of them was his. A kick, a reminder of the life within. An ache, a reminder of the empty place in her heart. A tear.
The rain continued to fall. And she waited.
listening. our hearts break for your lost loved ones.

y’know, it’s amazing how differently words move people. i saw the challenge to write something using fifty words exactly, and this fell from my fingers in less than five minutes. it’s about when we were having Big T, and waiting for his Dad to come. took him three years!
i never saw it relating to LeKZ, or even multiplicity, but now that you’ve said it, i kinda can. that’s fascinating, thanks for the insight. you should try the challenge, i know we’d love to see what you come up with.

i never knew her, so i’m not mourning.

hi darklys, you’re right that’s so amazing how people interpret words differently. i know when we’ve experienced loss and had people fronting who weren’t directly affected, it’s a relief — but i also know that even though you aren’t mourning, your system is suffering so that’s probably stressful on some level. it’s really nice to meet you! 🙂 i will take a look at the challenge, now my interest is piqued 🙂
